Flatland Drive began, not as a joke, but as a serious effort to blend traditional, hard-driving bluegrass with modern stylings, on April Fool's Day in 2009.  The members of the band hail from Caroline County, Maryland and Kent and Sussex Counties in Delaware.

In their time together, the band has shared the stage with the likes of bluegrass giants such as The Seldom Scene, The Lonesome River Band, Dailey and Vincent, The Boxcars, and many other stellar bands in the world of bluegrass.  They have worked very hard to write, find, and sharpen a wide array of material that showcases the instrumental prowess of their players and the respected harmonic talents of their vocalists.

From multi-day weekend bluegrass festivals to intimate, yet down-to-earth weddings and everything else in-between, Flatland Drive is available to bring its talents and musical repertoire to nearly any occasion.  The band hopes to see you in its musical journey sometime or many times throughout this year's playing season.
